Graycliff's Gerard Daniel Worldwide Acquires Wire Cloth Manufacturers Inc.
Graycliff Partners LP announced today that its portfolio company Gerard Daniel Worldwide, a provider of wire mesh and filtration solutions, has completed the acquisition of Wire Cloth Manufacturers Inc. (“WCM”), a manufacturer of woven and welded wire mesh. The combination of Gerard Daniel and WCM creates one of the largest wire mesh suppliers in North America.
Gerard Daniel, based in Hanover, PA, provides wire, wire cloth, and wire cloth components to a global commercial customer base primarily serving the automotive, aerospace, energy, pharmaceutical, electronics, food and general manufacturing end markets. WCM, based in Mine Hill, NJ, predominantly focuses on the industrial, agricultural and construction industries, along with segments of the B2C market. Together with Gerard Daniel’s technical capabilities, supply chain, and inventory management programs, the acquisition of WCM creates a global leader in filtration and separation products with the product breadth, expertise, and geographic reach to effectively serve new and existing customers. Post-acquisition, Gerard Daniel serves over 5,000 customers from 11 locations across three countries.
