Graycliff Partners Invests in Fulham

Graycliff Partners LP today announced it has completed an equity investment in Fulham Co. Inc., a manufacturer of lighting components for use in commercial applications across various end markets including general lighting, emergency lighting, ultraviolet, and horticulture. Since its founding in 1994, Fulham has been a trusted leading global supplier of cost-efficient power and lighting solutions across multiple technology types and systems.

Graycliff partnered with the existing management team to acquire Fulham, with the aim of driving continued performance excellence and growth, particularly across its Essential Product portfolios and international markets. Fulham’s management team increased its ownership as part of the transaction.

“Graycliff Partners is absolutely the right partner for Fulham at the right time,” said Antony Corrie, CEO of Fulham. “Their relationship-driven investing approach and financial acumen are ideal for a company of our size, trajectory, history, and future growth potential. We’re extremely excited about our new investment partner helping Fulham continue in its growth strategy.”

Brandon Martindale of Graycliff Partners said, “From the outset, we were impressed with the Fulham management team, its R&D capabilities and product portfolio. We back people primarily, and Fulham has a great management team with innovative vision and a fantastic reputation.”

Fulham is the latest investment in Graycliff’s fourth private equity fund, Graycliff Private Equity Partners IV LP. The current fund is a continuation of the firm’s strategy of making equity investments in lower middle market companies, with a focus on acquiring and/or partnering with founder and family-owned businesses in the manufacturing, business services, and value-added distribution sectors.
