XCEL NDT LLC Acquires Integrity Assessment Group

XCEL NDT LLC (“XCEL”), a Graycliff Partners portfolio company and provider of non-destructive testing (NDT) services, today announced the acquisition of Integrity Assessment Group (“IAG”). The transaction expands XCEL’s capabilities into new end markets—most notably power generation—and strengthens its position within the broader testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) industry.

The acquisition bolsters XCEL’s NDT offering while adding maintenance and cathodic protection capabilities, with minimal geographic overlap between the two businesses. Customers will benefit from expanded manpower, specialized equipment and senior technical leadership. “Bringing IAG into the XCEL family is about creating more value for customers and more opportunity for our people,” said Cole Morehead, Chief Executive Officer of XCEL NDT. “IAG’s momentum and capabilities complement ours, and this combination makes us faster, more capable, and more competitive—starting today. As we integrate, our priorities are continuity, safety, quality, and clear communication.”

XCEL NDT LLC provides NDT services to mission-critical customers across the United States. The company’s expansive team of experienced technicians utilizes an array of conventional and advanced equipment to ensure critical infrastructure is functioning reliably and safely, and to help customers maintain compliance with stringent regulatory and insurance requirements.
