Graycliff's Gerard Daniel Worldwide Acquires Durex
Graycliff Partners LP announced today that its portfolio company Gerard Daniel Worldwide (“GDW”), a premier provider of wire, wire cloth, and filtration solutions, has completed the acquisition of Durex Products Inc (“Durex”). This strategic move unites two industry leaders, expanding the GDW family of companies and brands while unlocking new opportunities for growth and innovation.
GDW, based in Hanover, PA, provides wire, wire cloth, and wire cloth components to a global commercial customer base serving a wide range of end markets. Durex, based in Luck, WI, is a manufacturer of high-quality wire and synthetic screening products for aggregate, mining, recycling, and industrial markets. The acquisition brings enhanced manufacturing capabilities for GDW through Durex’s established Wisconsin operations, introduces cross-selling opportunities for both GDW and Durex, and expands GDW’s product portfolio through the addition of synthetic filtering products and parts.
"We are thrilled about the opportunity to welcome Durex Products Inc into the Gerard Daniel Worldwide family," said Jack Slinger, President & CEO of GDW. "Durex is a great addition to our portfolio, bringing new manufacturing capabilities that align with our commitment to quality and efficiency. Their impressive track record of on-time delivery and superior products compliment our core values in servicing customers across North America, while also presenting opportunities for expansion by leveraging our operations in Europe."
Keegan Nelson of Durex Products commented, "Joining the Gerard Daniel Worldwide brand family provides us with a proven platform for growth. We look forward to utilizing their robust manufacturing and distribution resources while continuing to collaborate closely with our valued distributors and customers."
Durex is the latest acquisition completed by Graycliff-backed Gerard Daniel, following the January 2024 acquisition of Germany-based Rhodius KMS and the April 2023 acquisition of NJ-based Wire Cloth Manufacturers. Andrew Trigg, Managing Partner at Graycliff, commented, “We believe the addition of Durex to GDW is a great strategic fit that creates exciting growth opportunities for the combined business. We look forward to working with both teams to leverage these opportunities to further accelerate growth and serve Gerard Daniel’s global customer base seamlessly.”
Northborne Partners served as financial advisor to Durex.
